Adebayo Bakare, originally from Nigeria, embarked on a life-changing journey when he relocated to the United States in 2013. Armed with a B.Sc. in Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University, and an Associate Chartered Accountant designation from Nigeria, Adebayo brought his passion for numbers and an unyielding dedication to excellence to the American soil.

Adebayo’s career stands as a testament to his relentless pursuit of excellence in the accounting world. He honed his skills by working for professional accounting firms engaged in various facets of the financial industry, including accounting, audit and assurance, taxation, financial consultancy, and government contract accounting. He has truly proven to be a versatile professional in the field.

Adebayo’s commitment to excellence led him to attain numerous prestigious certifications. He is not only a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in both New York and the Commonwealth of Virginia, but also an IRS Enrolled Agent (EA), a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM). His dedication to his craft and his clients’ success knows no bounds.

To further enhance his expertise, Adebayo pursued an M.Sc. in Accounting and Financial Management at Keller Graduate School of Management. With this additional knowledge, he was poised to make an even greater impact in the world of finance.

Before founding Adebayo Bakare CPA PLLC, Adebayo gained invaluable experience working for esteemed organizations such as Ernst & Young, the Illinois Department of Revenue, the Defense Contract Audit Agency, and the Department of the Interior – Acquisition Audit Services Branch. This professional journey exposed him to the various nuances of United States Accounting and Taxation.

Armed with this wealth of experience, Adebayo decided to take the leap and establish his own firm, Adebayo Bakare CPA PLLC. His vision was clear: to make accounting, taxation, and financial management accessible and beneficial to individuals and small businesses.
